I applied to two different Masters specialization a in January. Both were of interest to me and both applications were to highly competitive programs. I first received the news that I did not make it into one program in the end of April. This lead to the nail biting decision of my second program. When I reviewed my application status, it stated I was wait listed. My heart dropped. I had many questions… what does it mean? Do I get automatic enrollment for spring if all others accepted their admission offers? Would I have to reapply? Long story short… I planned to contact my advisor everyday for an update. Monday she called with the great news that I was ACCEPTED!
This is still surreal to me. I've worked extremely hard to demystify what counselors think about me on paper so it's only right that I think this is a dream. So now, my plan will continue as expected: MSN Education, FNP certificate or DNP.
My first semester will start off with: Health Assesment and Teaching Stratagies. My estimated graduation date is Spring 2016. Then… the rest of my life begins.
